This is it!!! Week 6 and final reveal of the One Room Challenge!
So here it is ……..
My goal during this challenge was to create a fresh look without spending a ton of money. Here’s a break down of what I spent:
– paint on sale for buy one get one free $64.99 total ( and lots left for more projects)
– accessories: towels, rug, shower curtain, soap pump, water glass, tooth brush holder, plant pots, picture ledge- $150
– light fixture : on clearance for $37.97 from $154!!!
– spray paint for light fixture: $8.99
Everything else I had from our house! So total for project was $261.95! Plus, the best part is we found a $100 gift card for Home Sense in our car so the total really only cost $161.95!
I have endless home projects in the works as we’re 7 months in from our move from NYC to NC and sometimes don’t know where to start or what takes priority. Sometimes it’s where we spend most of our time that takes priority but sometimes one piece of furniture can be the start of it all.
Thank you Birch Lane for sponsoring this post.
I’ve loved having all the amazing inspiration from the other participants in the One Room Challenge . And I can say without a doubt I will be apart of the Spring 2020 One Room Challenge! I’ve already narrowed it down to three projects…. you’ll have to keep following along to see it unfold!
This coming week will include finishing drywall, replacing a couple floor boards, painting, and any remaining odds and ends to prep for cabinet install!
Don’t forget to check back in with all the other One Room Challenge participants here to see their progress this week.
