Well it’s another round of the One Room challenge! I jumped on board for the fall round to create our new nursery. We are expecting a little girl in January 2021 and it seemed perfect timing to get it done before Christmas!
We kicked off the challenge this round by receiving our new cabinets. They aren’t even unpacked yet and I am beyond thrilled to have them. I may just breakdown and unbox one early just so I can see the beautiful colour I picked them in!
I have decided to go a little outside my comfort zone with this room and pick a bold accent colour! I’m excited and nervous to incorporate a berry/ burgundy tone with Sherwin Williams Sommelier. I’ll be balancing it out with some classic neutrals with SW Pure White and SW Agreeable Grey.
The plan is to incorporate the burgundy by painting a vintage dresser and adding some personality to the walls with board and batten. I will be adding some wood tones and gold to the space to give it some texture.
Can’t wait to paint this dresser a gorgeous burgundy!
