How are we already on Week 2 ( insert monkey emoji cover eyes here) ?!?!?
This past week has been busy so I unfortunately do not have any behind the scenes of my DIYs yet. But don’t worry, it’s coming! This past week has been all about sourcing products and narrowing down my vision. I also practiced my drawing skills for my faux wallpaper I will be attempting by hand. Here is my current mood board with potential products for our laundry room makeover for the One Room Challenge
I have defiantely been leaning towards wood tones and neutrals lately with just a touch of earthy green. This white is Sherwin Williams ” Pure White” and I will be using for the top portion of the wall where I will be drawing my own custom floral print. The black is by Sico Paints and called “volcanic rocks”. This black is my go-to soft black. The green is Benjamin Moore “Backwoods” and the perfect earthy green. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll do the lower portion of the wall the soft black or the green. What do you think? Vote in comments!
All of the accessories and pieces on my mood board are from Ikea ! For this project I was able to find almost everything I needed there. Now to actual hit the “continue to checkout” button…..

And in case you want a sneak peek at my floral design for the laundry room. Here’s a little practice run on a canvas using a sharpie paint pen.
I can’t wait to make some major progress on this space! Make sure to be following along on Instagram – My .WestCoast.Life where I will be sharing behind the scenes throughout each week.
And don’t forget to check out all the other amazing transformations happening at One Room Challenge
Until next week, Sarah
