One Room Challenge – week 5 –

Coming in hot on week 5 of this One Room Challenge! I was able to get some real momentum and tick off quite a few things on my list ( finally!).

If you’ve been following along on INSTAGRAM then you’ve seen me go to great measures to get stuff done. Whether it be late night scallop painting in my P.J.s or putting the toddler in the bathtub (with no water) midday to get a picture ledge hung.

Here’s a couple things I worked on this past week:

I spray painted the new bathroom light fixture. The gold wasn’t the right vibe for the room, so I went matte black for the win.

I completed the scallop edge this week! Honestly it is a slow and tedious process and you may drive yourself mad trying to make each one perfect. But it is 100 percent worth it!

I also installed the new light fixture and install the picture ledge. This picture ledge is one of my favourite go to pieces from IKEA.

During the last week of the challenge I’ll be working on paint touch ups, outlet/switch covers, and styling! I can’t wait to show you the FINAL REVEAL next week!

Until next Thursday,
